I now have two Estrella's my latest one is a Japanese import. The worst thing about the bikes must be the CV Carburettor. I would like to try an alternative "normal" carburettor. Has anyone else tried this?

By the way, I do know how to clean and set up the original carburettors I just really don't like them.

You probably have sorted things out by now

but for the record i have replaced the original CV with an inexpensive Chinese copy of the same, as I am restoring and jetting the original.
If you are careful with the settings, it works GREAT...just like the original....
