Pannier Bags Antworten

Hi everyone

I really like the small pannier bags that Masayuki has on his very cool looking bike and was wondering what other riders have used for bags.

I like the leather look but am interested to see what others Estrella riders have used for storage.

Andreas could you please ask in the German Forum and let me know if anyone has posts photos of bags.

Thanks

C

Hi Claire,

it's really amazing with Ulrich's posting!

I don't have photos of it, but I sometimes use two little "pannier bags", too!
They originally were front fork tool bags!
Big enough for short tours.
The most difficult thing was to find some without an Eagle or V-motor on it!

Here are two examples:

Both cost 9.95 Euro each, so very cheap!
You should look for motorcycle shops in NZ (as our shops surely have no branch offices in NZ) and watch what they offer. Maybe the bags are originally meant to be used for something different (like my bags) - but if it fits ands looks good, who cares?!

Hello,Claire

As for the back which is at the side of my Estrella,Kawasaki is native.
If there is a store of Kawasaki in Australia,it may be possible to buy.
Because the back isn`t so big,too much,a thing isn`t stored.

From the friend in the Far East.

hi claire,

sorry for my impetuous. rather unrelated posting. It appears that the forum is a bit upside-down every now and then - nothing to do with the down-unders, even though it popped up in your thread.

This strange posting was meant to appear in a thread which was removed just "seconds" before I posted my comments. For some mysterious softweary reasons it then apparently spent a few days looking for a cosy place to stay. Thanks Claire, for offering it your hospitality.

By the way, it was just an attempt to make a small joke - no meaning at all out of its context, which has vanished since. Vanitas-vanitatem (if I remember it right).
U.

Hi Masayuki

Thanks for that information, I will keep looking at the bike shops here in New Zealand.

By the way, New Zealand is a completely different country to Australia

Australia is a 3 hour plane ride away. New Zealanders are smarter, better looking and more modest than most Australians

Cheers

Claire

Hi there

Sounds like the "Twilight Zone"!!!!!!!!

Any excuse to get more people in the International Forum. It can get kind of lonely here sometimes.

Cheers

Hi Claire,

In Antwort auf:

That's because so many German women emigrated to NZ after World War II !

But Kiwis should be more clever and push the button "Accessory Parts" on the Estrella site (see "Various", "Links", "Kawasaki Estrella (Japan)" ...

Yes those German women were very smart to move to NZ

Thanks for the tip about the accessories, I will take note of the product code and see if I can get a couple sent over.

Cheers

Hello, Claire.

It has made a mistake in Australia and New Zealand and it is sorry.

There are many belles in New Zealand.
It is very enviable.
It is hearing that New Zealand is a very good place.
It wants to attempt to go once if there is opportunity.

Just wondering,

When you get a message from the Far East, what do you expect in NZ - a letter from Argentina ??? Or would this be Middle East and the Far East would be located - same as the Far West - in South Africa ??? The Mid-West logically being Australia...

Or do you still use London/Whitehall/frontentrance as the center of the Universe, i.e. Empire ??

Hello,

who ever you are and where ever you come from ...

As far as I know it's never been Whitehall but Greenwich? So, a bit more East?!

No, the Center for this forum is Germany, 61381 Friedrichsdorf (Kawasaki Germany)
or 2130 AM Hoofddorp in the Netherlands (Headquarter Kawasaki Europe).
Both have the same time (zone).

I guess you see the same time behind the postings here in the forum as we see???
So, Masayuki is in the Far East indeed!

Hi Ulrich,

now I know!
Well your browser may delete the cookies after some time. So, you won't automatically get logged in. You would recognise this in the German forum (writing only for memebers) but here is the international forum, every one can read or write (member or not).
This was made to make it a little bit easyer for our foreign / non-German speaking friends.

But now: BACK TO THE PANNIER BAGS!
